GAWSE ZAMAN ALLAMA SYED AMINUL HOQ FORHADABADI (K)

Birth place: The birth place of Allama Forhadabadi(k) is located at Hathazari in the district of Chittagong. Chittagong is the queen of natural beauty, lies in the hinter land of China. The sacred village is Forhadabad that was named as Nawab forhad khan visited this place and later lived. Allam Forhadabadi(K) was born in the south side of Forhadabad. Later his sacred birth place was renowned as Forhadabad Darbar Sharif. Most of the famous OLI (saints) of at that time visited Forhadabad Darbar Sharif, who met Allama Forhadabadi(k), discussed Spiritual thoughts, Islamic philosophy, islamic shariah, Maizbhandari philosophy and Maizbhandari tarika.

Honoured parents: Awlade Rasul SM Hazrat Syed Abdul Karim (k) was the honoured father of Allama Forhadabadi (k).He wrote a book named “Nazme-Dil-Khusha-Fi-Milade-Mustafa (sm) ” which is the famous book of Milad Sharif and that was published firstly at Kanpur in India.Hazrat Gawsul Azam Maizbhadari (K) invited Syed Abdul karim every 22 of Arabic month and listened Milad Sharif .Hazrat Gawsul Azam Maizbhandari(k) would utter “Marhaba” at the time of listening Milad Sharif recited by Syed Abdul Karim (K). His honoured mother’s name is Syeda Nasima Khatun (R) who was also a religious woman.

Birth of Allama Forhadabadi (k): Allama Forhadabadi (k) was born at Forhadabad in Chittagong. Beautiful Chittagong which is named by traveller as the ‘green city’, named by the Arabian merchant as ‘Chattal’, by the Tribal Bhuddists as ‘Chatonggong’, by the Urdu poets as ‘Chatgam’, by the Hindus as ‘Chattala’, by the Muslims as ‘Chattagram’ and by the English as ‘Chittagong’. It is the birth place of Gawsul Azam Maizbhndari(k) who was the ender of restricted Belayot and beginner of open Belayot. Allama Forhadabadi(k) is his well known main caliph.

In this beautiful region Aallama Forhadabadi(k) was born in 1866 A.D. 1263 Hizri, 1271 B.S. Hazrat Syed Abdul Karm (k) became fortunate having the illustrious son Allama Syed Aminul Hoq Forhadabadi(k).

Allama Forhadabadi(k) was a great saint who contrubuted a lot for the establishment of peace through Islam and extended the main view of Ahle-Sunnat-Waal-Jamat by Maizbhandari Tarika with his spiritual power given by Allah Subhan-Tala. He played a vital role to remove darkness of the society by showing islamic logics so that many people got the chance and is still getting chance to shelter themselves under the shadow of peaceful islam.

Educational life: There are two kinds of knowledge. ELME ZAHER which is about shariah and another is ELME BATHEN which is about spiritual knowledge.
Both of these were achieved by Allama Forhadabadi(k). When his age was four, he began to learn the holy Quran (kalamullah) from his honured father syed Abdul Karim (k).Child Aminul Hoq gained primary knowledge about religious rules and completed reading Quran. And he was admitted to local Madrasha. He started to practise the rules of islamic shariah at the age of seven. And at 12, he followed all the rules of shariah. From that time, he was always absorbed in studying and did not met anything wrong. He always had decency, modesty and bashfulness and never involved himself with any kinds of quarrelling. He was brilliant, spirited and always had deep passion for knowledge. With the passage of time he became familiar to the teachers and society when he was just passing childhood. One of the famous Oli named Hazarat Syed Mosiullah Mirzapuri(k) who praised about Allama Forhadabadi(k) while joining in a JANAJA at Dhalai with his renowned father Syed Abdul karim (k). Seeing the brightened face of young Aminul Hoq , Syed Mirzapuri (k) noted to the people ” This son of Syed Abdul Karim Shaheb will be a famous ALIM in the world and with his knowledge the whole world will be enlightened”. Later his prediction became true.

After the completion of primary learning, he was admitted to Govt Mohsenia Madrasha (present Mohsin College) situated in Chittagong city. For maintaining educational cost he was just only given three taka per month from his family. With this money he maintained educational cost. Within short time Young Aminul Hoq became well known to the teachers and classmates for his good behaviour, good character,talent, passion for knowledge and became known as “Mufti Amin” to them.

One day Young Aminul Hoq went to the Mazar of Amanat Shah(k) to be blessed for final exam by that famous Oli while just studying at Mohsenia Madrasha. It should be noted that he was reciting holy Quran under a plum tree of that Mazar. He fell asleep while reciting Quran and dreamt Amanat Shah. In dream, he saw Amanat shah giving an unseasonal plum in his mouth. At that time he woke up and similarly saw that a plum fell down on the ground. He took it and ate the whole plum by reciting Bismillah. He remained at Mazar Sharif till morning. But he became restless and unsteady after eating the plum. He went to residence but he was restless and unsteady. Then he thought that he would pass coming night at the Mazar of Miskin Shah (k). At deep night going to that Mazar he saw that his known Azgar Shah (k) (renowned as Komboli Shah) was sleeping by covering his full body with blanket. Young Aminul Hoq passed some time reciting Quran and Darud(sm). After that he intended in mind that he should serve Azgar Shah but he saw that the whole body of that saint was turned into as cold as ice. Aminul Hoq examined and thought him to be dead.Young Aminul Hoq was trembling with fear. Not getting any way he wanted to constable that dead body. He thought that at morning he would call the people to inform them about this matter. When he heard the call of FAZAR praying, his fear had gone. But it was a matter of surprising that Azgar Shah woke up by uttering Allahu Akbar. Aminul Hoq became surprised and silent and thought that how this dead person became alive again. At that time Azgar shah said to Aminul Hoq ” why have you come here? Amanat shah blessed you previous night.” But Aminul Hoq thought how this saint knew that i had been blessed previous night by Amanat Shah. He minded ” there may have spiritual connections among Olis (saints)”.

Then Azgar Shah told him to leave the place and bring a blanket. Without replying, he went to his residence. After reaching residence, he thought ” My father gives me three taka per month to bear my educational expenses. If i buy a blanket by one taka and four paisa how it would cover all of my monthly expenses”. Just after a few moments, he determined to buy a blanket for Azgar Shah. He thought certainly ” Allah will manage everything to bear monthly costs”. Then he went to bed as he had been awakening for last couple of nights. And he fell asleep. At that night Amanat Shah came to him in dream with many religious books and was showing that books one by one to Aminul Hoq.

Aminul Hoq was reading all of them and it had no ending. Thus many books had been read by him.

After having dream, the range of knowledge on islam of Allama Forhadabadi (k) had been increased

sharply and bestowed ELME LODONI by the blessings of Almighty Allah. After that in final exam he achieved the best result. Thus his institutional educational life had been completed with honour and dignity. Later he came back to his home and joined his honourable father.And he intended himself in spiritual meditation and started to dedicate himself  to the service of mankind so that many people would come to him for solutions through islamic rules and views. Within short time he became well known to the society.
